Dry Scent: did you ever wake up and just feel like jamming a canister of newly opened playdough under your nose and inhaling deeply? oh god, i have. that new playdough smell is one of the best smells in the world. and somehow it is also the smell this soap gives off. oh man if i could just jam it straight into my nostrils for all day i’d be one happy camper.
if you’ve never smelled playdough, let’s just say it’s a nice cozy organic clean scent.
Wet Scent: once the soap gets wet, the smell doesn’t get any more intense or mild. it just stays where it is, which is awesome. if you get a real good lather going and jam your nose right into it, you’ll get wiffs of the oats from the oatmeal and hints of the honey. but mostly it still just smells faintly like delicious new playdough. what no i didn’t say delicious i don’t eat playdough (protip: don’t eat playdough, it’s salty)
After Scent: barely anything at all, just a real muted oat soap smell.
After Thoughts: it’s rare that i get such a surprise with these soaps :O i was expecting a generic oat-honey soap smell (this is kind of a staple of fancy soap scents) and instead got that AMAZING playdough scent. now me i really like playdough, but people who don’t probably won’t like this soap.
but by me? this soap is aces all the way down. it leaves me feeling really nice and clean. i used it on a dark, rainy day and i can not think of a better time to bust this soap out. it’s a warm, cozy, subtle scent that would be (like the name implies) suitable and agreeable to both dudes and dames.
A++ smell, would buy again.
